Ingredients

  • 1 red onion large, cut into wedges
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 2 cups chickpeas can, drained
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 2 7/8 tablespoons Flora Original 11/2oz, pro.activ Light
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin each, and ground coriander
  • 2 tablespoons low fat natural yogurt
  • black pepper

Method

  • Place the onion on a baking sheet, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in preheated oven 200 C, 180 C fan, gas mark 6 for 20 minutes or until cooked.
  • Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend to a rough puree. Season to taste and turn into a bowl. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour to give the flavours a chance to develop.
  • Serve on toasted bread.
