Ingredients
- 2 c. raw rice
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Cook rice until done and leave plenty of liquid.
- Add sugar. Mix egg yolks, milk and cornstarch together; add to rice and sugar.
- Cook until thick.
- Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Let cool. Top with Cool Whip or egg icing.
- Keep in fridge.
