Ingredients

  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1/2 c. raw rice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. milk

Method

  • Combine first five ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to boil over medium/high heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
  • Turn heat to low and cook until rice is softened, about 30 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Blend beaten egg and 2 tablespoons of milk in small bowl.
  • Pour into Rice Pudding; blend well.
  • Pour in serving dish and chill before serving.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon.
