Ingredients

  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 3 halved chicken breasts

Method

  • In a bowl, mix soup and milk; reserve half of mixture.
  • In another bowl, mix remaining soup mixture, rice and mushrooms and liquid with half of onion soup mix.
  • Pour into shallow casserole. Place chicken on top.
  • Pour reserved soup over chicken.
  • Sprinkle with remaining onion soup.
  • Cover.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Uncover; bake 15 minutes more.
