Ingredients

  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2 small jar Cheez Whiz
  • 1 small jar mushrooms
  • 2/3 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped fine
  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 1/2 c. grated cheese

Method

  • Cook broccoli and drain.
  • In a 5-quart pan, saute onion and celery in portion of butter.
  • Add soup, Cheez Whiz, mushrooms and remaining butter.
  • Add 3 cups of cooked rice and broccoli (drained).
  • Pour into greased casserole and top with grated cheese.
  • Bake at 350° until cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
