Ingredients
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. wheat germ
- 3/4 c. uncooked oatmeal
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 c. diced rhubarb
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix flour, wheat germ, oatmeal, brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon until crumbly.
- Press 1/2 into a greased 9-inch pan. Cover with rhubarb.
- Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and vanilla until clear.
- Pour over rhubarb.
- Top with remaining crumbs.
- Bake 1 hour at 350°.
