Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 6 c. unsifted plain flour
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
Method
- Over shortening, sugar and
- salt,
- pour
- boiling water; blend to cool.
- Add eggs, sprinkle yeast in lukewarm water and stir until dissolved.
- Combine with egg mixture, add flour and blend well.
- Cover and place in refrigerator in large bowl for at least 4 hours.
- Will keep for 1
- week
- or
- 10 days.
