Ingredients
- 1 c. Crisco (not oil)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. warm water (from faucet)
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 6 c. plain flour
Method
- Mix Crisco, sugar, salt and boiling water well to dissolve grease.
- Add warm water and yeast.
- Then add the eggs.
- Put in plain flour one cup at a time.
- Mix well.
- Leave in same bowl. Put some oil on top of dough.
- Put Saran Wrap over bowl.
- Put in refrigerator overnight.
- Make out amount you need.
- Dot with butter.
- Let rise in warmest place you have for 2 or 3 hours or until they rise.
- Bake at 400° until done.
- Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks or longer.
- Makes 45 rolls.
