Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 4 c. tomato sauce or juice, heated
- 1 tsp. paprika
Method
- Saute bacon slowly and pour off part of fat.
- Brown chopped onion in hot fat.
- Wash rice and drain, then add it with 1 1/2 cups to tomato sauce or juice and paprika.
- Pour into a lightly greased casserole and bake until rice is tender.
- Gradually add tomato juice as it is absorbed.
- Bake at 350° about 30 minutes.
