Ingredients

  • 1 baked 9-inch pie shell (I use Pet-Ritz deep dish)
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 pt. heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Method

  • Cream confectioners sugar and cream cheese in bowl until soft. In separate bowl, whip cream with vanilla and confectioners sugar to taste.
  • Combine contents of both bowls and pour into cooled pie crust.
  • Cover with cherry or your choice pie filling and refrigerate until ready to serve.
