Ingredients
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. pure almond extract
- 5 Tbsp. raspberry preserves
- sliced, blanched almonds, toasted *
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Method
- *To toast almonds, spread on cookie sheet; bake at 375° for 5 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown, stirring occasionally.
