Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 tsp. sugar

Method

  • Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water.
  • Put 1 teaspoon of sugar in yeast water.
  • Mix flour, salt, 1 teaspoon sugar and oil together.
  • Combine yeast and flour mixture.
  • Knead into a soft ball; let set for 1 hour.
  • Push back down and knead again into small balls.
  • Place into angel food pan.
  • Let rise another hour. Cook at 400° for about 20 minutes.
  • Rub butter over bread when half cooked.
