Ingredients
- 3 to 4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 tsp. sugar
Method
- Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water.
- Put 1 teaspoon of sugar in yeast water.
- Mix flour, salt, 1 teaspoon sugar and oil together.
- Combine yeast and flour mixture.
- Knead into a soft ball; let set for 1 hour.
- Push back down and knead again into small balls.
- Place into angel food pan.
- Let rise another hour. Cook at 400° for about 20 minutes.
- Rub butter over bread when half cooked.
