Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • sprinkle of garlic salt
  • 1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 1/3 c. Minute rice
  • 1 tsp. chili powder

Method

  • Brown ground beef and onion and sprinkle with garlic salt in large skillet.
  • Drain and add tomatoes, beef, bouillon, broth, corn, rice and chili powder.
  • Heat to boiling point.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir and cover.
  • Ready to eat in 10 minutes.
  • May substitute regular rice, cooked, for Minute rice and water.
