Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- powdered sugar topping
Method
- Mix cake mix according to instructions on the box.
- Pour 1/2 the batter into 9 x 13-inch pan that is greased and floured. Sprinkle 1/2 the sugar-butter-spice-nut-flour mixture over the batter.
- Pour the balance of cake batter over the top, with balance of sugar mix sprinkled over all.
- Bake according to cake instructions on box.
- Cool slightly, then remove from pan. Sprinkle powdered sugar over warm cake.
