Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (11 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans or pinto beans
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder

Method

  • Brown meat and onion in a small amount of fat.
  • Add tomato soup and beans (I like to mash half of the beans with a potato masher), chili powder, salt, vinegar and enough water for the desired consistency.
  • Cook about 20 minutes on medium heat.
