Ingredients
- 1 whole pumpkin
- 1 can evap. milk
- 1 can sweetnend condensed milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
Method
- pre-heat oven to 350
- Cut your pumpkin in half and remove the seeds.
- Place pumpkin cut side down in a pan with water.
- Cook till pumpkin is soft.
- Peel and mash the pumpkin till smooth (if you have a food prosser you can use it).
- Add your caned evaporated and sweetend milk and stir well.
- Add sugar and pour spices.
- Now before you add the eggs taste the pumpkin mix to see if you need 2 add extra sugar or pumpkin pie spice.
- Add eggs
- Place mixture into pie shells (you may need more then 2 pie shells depending on the size of the pumpkin).
- Place pies into the over.
- The pies will be ready when you stick a knife in the center of the pies and it comes out clean.
- They will be done.
- Allow to cool a bit and serve.
