Ingredients

  • 1 whole pumpkin
  • 1 can evap. milk
  • 1 can sweetnend condensed milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/2 tbsp pumpkin pie spice

Method

  • pre-heat oven to 350
  • Cut your pumpkin in half and remove the seeds.
  • Place pumpkin cut side down in a pan with water.
  • Cook till pumpkin is soft.
  • Peel and mash the pumpkin till smooth (if you have a food prosser you can use it).
  • Add your caned evaporated and sweetend milk and stir well.
  • Add sugar and pour spices.
  • Now before you add the eggs taste the pumpkin mix to see if you need 2 add extra sugar or pumpkin pie spice.
  • Add eggs
  • Place mixture into pie shells (you may need more then 2 pie shells depending on the size of the pumpkin).
  • Place pies into the over.
  • The pies will be ready when you stick a knife in the center of the pies and it comes out clean.
  • They will be done.
  • Allow to cool a bit and serve.
