Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Combine flour and brown sugar in bowl.
  • Mix in margarine to make crumb mixture.
  • Set aside 3/4 cup for topping.
  • Press remaining in bottom of 8 x 8-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
  • Cool slightly.
  • Combine cream cheese, sugar, pumpkin, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour over baked crust.
  • Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Cool.
