Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cloves

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Combine crumbs and margarine.
  • Press into bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan.
  • Bake 5 minutes.
  • Combine cream cheese, sugar, pumpkin, vanilla, spices and salt.
  • Mix at medium speed until blended.
  • Add eggs, one at a time.
  • Mix well after each.
  • Pour over crust.
  • Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Loosen cake from rim of pan.
  • Cool.
  • Remove rim of pan.
  • Chill several hours.
