Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 c. well-drained sauerkraut
  • 1 c. beef bouillon
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • paprika

Method

  • Brown chops, season and place in single layer in pan.
  • Cover chops with onion and sauerkraut.
  • Mix beef bouillon and sour cream and pour over sauerkraut.
  • Bake, covered, for 1 hour in 350° oven. About 10 minutes before serving, sprinkle with crumbs and paprika and finish baking uncovered.
  • Baste chops a few times after putting the crumbs on top.
