Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. each: nutmeg, allspice, cloves and cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. canned pumpkin
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. water plus 1/2 c. peach brandy or 1 c. water
  • 1 c. each: pecans and raisins

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Combine sugar, flour, soda, salt, nutmeg, allspice, cloves and cinnamon in large bowl.
  • Mix eggs, pumpkin, oil and water; combine with dry ingredients.
  • Beat well until mixed.
  • Fold in pecans and raisins.
  • Bake in large greased pan.
