Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. each: nutmeg, allspice, cloves and cinnamon
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. canned pumpkin
- 1 c. oil
- 1/2 c. water plus 1/2 c. peach brandy or 1 c. water
- 1 c. each: pecans and raisins
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Combine sugar, flour, soda, salt, nutmeg, allspice, cloves and cinnamon in large bowl.
- Mix eggs, pumpkin, oil and water; combine with dry ingredients.
- Beat well until mixed.
- Fold in pecans and raisins.
- Bake in large greased pan.
