Ingredients

  • 1 package Refrigerated Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, 8 Ounce Package
  • 1 block Brie Cheese (1/2 Pound Size Package)
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Unwrap crescent rolls and roll them out on your work surface.
  • Take half of them (4 triangles forming a rectangle) and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Press seams together to form a uniform surface.
  • Cut cheese into cubes and place on top of the dough on the baking sheet.
  • You can choose to remove the rind if youd like, some people prefer to.
  • Roll out remaining dough and cover the top of the cheese.
  • You may choose to use some of the remaining dough to cut out a shape or two to place on top.
  • I think it looks pretty snazzy.
  • Mold the dough with your hands, trying to make it cover the cheese as uniformly and smoothly as possible.
  • Top with any cut out shapes.
  • Brush part of the beaten egg on top, sprinkle with brown sugar, and brush a little more egg on top.
  • Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and serve.
