- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Unwrap crescent rolls and roll them out on your work surface.
- Take half of them (4 triangles forming a rectangle) and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Press seams together to form a uniform surface.
- Cut cheese into cubes and place on top of the dough on the baking sheet.
- You can choose to remove the rind if youd like, some people prefer to.
- Roll out remaining dough and cover the top of the cheese.
- You may choose to use some of the remaining dough to cut out a shape or two to place on top.
- I think it looks pretty snazzy.
- Mold the dough with your hands, trying to make it cover the cheese as uniformly and smoothly as possible.
- Top with any cut out shapes.
- Brush part of the beaten egg on top, sprinkle with brown sugar, and brush a little more egg on top.
- Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
- Remove from oven and serve.
- This is so good!
