Ingredients
- 1 pound 90/10 Ground Beef
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped Or Food Processed
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 5 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Tomato Paste
- 1 whole Frozen Puff Pastry Sheet
Method
- Add the ground beef to the slow cooker.
- Top with the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- On top of that, place the finely chopped onion.
- Cube the butter over the onions.
- Cover and slow cook on low for 5 to 6 hours until onions are soft and sweet.
- Smash the beef and onions together and add the Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste, then stir.
- In the meantime, youll have defrosted the frozen puff pastry sheet.
- Roll it out until its twice its size (using flour so the dough doesnt stick).
- Cut the sheet into 6 equal pieces, which should be about 5 inches by 5 inches each.
- One at a time, place a small sheet of pastry on an oiled baking sheet.
- Spoon in about 1/4 cup of the beef and onion mixture, then fold the sheet, corner to corner, twice and pinch for closure.
- Cook at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes, or until golden and flaky.
- Serve while hot.
