Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
- 1 large can cherry pie filling
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 (2 oz.) envelopes Dream Whip
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Method
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Add sugar and pretzels; blend lightly.
- Reserve 1 cup for top.
- Press remaining mixture in baking dish.
- Fold whipped topping into blended cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- Spread 1/2 the cream cheese mixture on crust, then cherry pie filling, then remaining cream cheese.
- Sprinkle remaining pretzels on top.
- Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
