- 250 g shrimp, back sliced open
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 bunch cassava leaves, boiled and sliced
- 13 pcs cayenne peppers
- 6 pcs red chilis, cut into rough pieces
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 bananas (young), peeled and grilled briefly
- 4 onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp shrimp paste (if desired)
- to taste Salt and sugar
Method
- Soak the shrimp in lemon juice and soy sauce for 1 hour.
- Fry shrimp until it changes color.
- Remove and set aside.
- Boil and slice the cassava leaves.
- Banana Sambal: mix chopped tomatoes, cayenne pepper, chilis, garlic and shrimp paste.
- Stir-fry briefly, then add the sugar and salt.
- Take the roasted banana and press a bit with the sauce.
- Serve with fried shrimp.
