Ingredients
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
- 3 c. pecans, chopped
Method
- Combine in saucepan both sugars, water, corn syrup, vinegar and salt.
- Turn control to highest setting to bring mixture to full boil, stirring constantly.
- The second the mixture boils, turn the control to "off."
- Let stand for 3 minutes without lid. Do not stir during these 3 minutes.
- Immediately stir in vanilla, butterscotch morsels and pecans.
- Stir until morsels are dissolved.
- Drop by spoon on wax paper.
- It will look thin.
- Work fast and have everything ready because this hardens fast.
