Ingredients
- 6 large potatoes, cubed
- 3 c. celery, chopped
- 3 large onions, minced
- 1 clove garlic (optional)
- 4 c. hot milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 4 c. water
Method
- Heat cooker.
- Add butter.
- Lightly brown onion and garlic. Blend in flour.
- Add water gradually.
- Add potatoes, celery and salt.
- Cook 25 minutes (until potatoes are tender).
- Add hot milk just before serving.
