Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Spread potatoes on bottom of greased pan.
  • Next sprinkle onions.
  • Mix rest of ingredients and place on top of potatoes. Shortly before baking, make topping of 2 cups crushed cornflakes. Sprinkle on top and drizzle with 1/4 cup melted butter.
  • Cook at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes in an 11 x 13-inch greased pan.
  • Better if prepared ahead of time.
