Ingredients
- 1 (10 oz.) box frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
- 1 c. light cream
- 1/2 c. Velveeta cheese, grated
- 1 envelope Herb-Ox chicken broth
Method
- Cook broccoli in water and salt until tender.
- Saute onion in butter until transparent.
- Add onion to broccoli and mash.
- Add chicken broth, cream and cheese.
- Mix well.
- Heat, but do not boil.
- Serves 5.
- May thicken with cornstarch/water.
