Ingredients

  • 1 big bag Ore-Ida cubed hash brown potatoes
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion, Vidalia or sweet
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 16 oz. medium Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a pan with Pam. Spread potatoes in bottom of pan. Melt the butter, stir in the soup and onion. Cook until bubbling. Remove from heat and stir in cheese, reserving some for topping. Pour over potatoes and sprinkle cheese over top. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes to 1 hour. The potatoes should be tender.
