- 3 lb. spareribs, cut up
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 can pineapple chunks with juice
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
Method
- Place salt and peppered spareribs in a shallow roasting pan. Brown 1 hour in a 350° oven.
- Drain.
- Mix remaining ingredients and add to drained ribs; return to oven 40 to 50 minutes longer. You may use pork meat chunks instead of ribs.
- Brown the meat; drain.
- Pour the sauce over and bake 1 hour.
