Ingredients

  • 3 lb. spareribs, cut up
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 green pepper, cut in strips
  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 can pineapple chunks with juice
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire

Method

  • Place salt and peppered spareribs in a shallow roasting pan. Brown 1 hour in a 350° oven.
  • Drain.
  • Mix remaining ingredients and add to drained ribs; return to oven 40 to 50 minutes longer. You may use pork meat chunks instead of ribs.
  • Brown the meat; drain.
  • Pour the sauce over and bake 1 hour.
