Ingredients

  • 4 (6 to 8 oz. each) pork chops, boned and sliced thinly lengthwise
  • 1 tsp. dark soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. yellow bean paste
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Chinese Rose wine or sweet sherry
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 8 oz. snow peas
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1-inch piece ginger root, peeled and finely chopped

Method

  • Place pork in a dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, bean paste, 1 tablespoon peanut oil and Rose wine or sherry.
  • Then pour over pork.
  • Turn slices to coat.
  • Marinate 1 hour.
  • Drain and reserve marinade.
