Ingredients
- 3 pork steaks (1/2 to 3/4 inch thick)
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 6 c. dry bread crumbs or Stove Top dressing
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1 can (16 oz.) cream-style corn
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- paprika
Method
- Brown pork steak on both sides.
- Remove from pan and season with salt and pepper.
- In the drippings add the bread cubes (or stuffing) and corn.
- Sprinkle with sage and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Place stuffing in a 13 x 9-inch roasting pan.
- Place pork steaks on top of stuffing.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake at 325° for 1 hour or until meat is done.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
