Ingredients

  • 3 pork steaks (1/2 to 3/4 inch thick)
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 6 c. dry bread crumbs or Stove Top dressing
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 can (16 oz.) cream-style corn
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • paprika

Method

  • Brown pork steak on both sides.
  • Remove from pan and season with salt and pepper.
  • In the drippings add the bread cubes (or stuffing) and corn.
  • Sprinkle with sage and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Place stuffing in a 13 x 9-inch roasting pan.
  • Place pork steaks on top of stuffing.
  • Cover tightly with foil and bake at 325° for 1 hour or until meat is done.
  • Sprinkle with paprika.
