Ingredients
- 1 pt. yellow cream-style corn
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 7 slices day old bread
- 6 pork chops
- 1 c. hot water
Method
- Put corn in mixing bowl.
- Add onion, egg, salt and sugar; mix. Cut bread in cubes; add to corn mixture to make stiff enough to hold shape.
- Brown chops; salt to taste.
- Drain off excess fat. Divide dressing into 6 parts; heap one part on each chop.
- Pour water around chops, not on dressing.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour in covered dish.
