Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 pork chops (thin, boneless; use just a little of the salt on them)
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (plus water)
  • 1 c. Uncle Ben's Original white rice (plus water amount on box for 1 c.)
  • 3 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • seasoning salt, white salt and black pepper to taste

Method

  • Brown pork chops quickly and then set aside to cool.
  • Put cream of mushroom soup, all water, cup of rice, garlic, salts and black pepper in skillet where pork chops were fried, leaving about 3 tablespoons of grease as seasoning.
  • Cover with lid.
  • Simmer until rice is done.
  • Stir very often.
  • Take pork chops and pull into inch pieces and cook in the rice mixture until all water is absorbed and rice is soft.
