Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 can cream of mushroom with 1/3 c. water added
  • 4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. sour cream (optional)

Method

  • In skillet, brown chops.
  • Blend soup and water and sour cream. In
  • quart
  • casserole, alternate layers of potatoes, soup mix, salt, pepper and onion.
  • Top with chops.
  • Cover and bake at 375° for
  • 1 1/4 hours.
  • This can be put in microwave, leaving out
  • the chops
  • until the final 4 minutes of cooking. Cook on Medium-high for 30 minutes.
  • Stir every 10 minutes.
