Ingredients
- 4 pork chops (boneless)
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 1/4 c. onion, sliced
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1 apple, cored and quartered
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 or 3 c. sauerkraut
- 1/4 c. white wine
Method
- Brown chops in oil and margarine.
- Add garlic, onion, sage and apple.
- Saute few minutes.
- Stir in pepper and wine.
- Place sauerkraut on top of chops.
- Cover; heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat to simmer.
- Cook 40 to 45 minutes.
