Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops, trimmed
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of celery or mushroom soup
  • dash of leaf thyme or dill seed
  • 2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans, thawed or 2 (1 lb.) cans green beans, drained
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Method

  • In ovenproof skillet, brown chops on both sides.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Pour off drippings.
  • Blend in soup and thyme.
  • Stir in beans.
  • Arrange chops on top.
  • Sprinkle on salt and pepper. Cover; bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes or until chops are tender.
  • Uncover; cook to desired consistency, 5 to 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
