Ingredients
- 6 pork chops, trimmed
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of celery or mushroom soup
- dash of leaf thyme or dill seed
- 2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans, thawed or 2 (1 lb.) cans green beans, drained
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Method
- In ovenproof skillet, brown chops on both sides.
- Remove from pan.
- Pour off drippings.
- Blend in soup and thyme.
- Stir in beans.
- Arrange chops on top.
- Sprinkle on salt and pepper. Cover; bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes or until chops are tender.
- Uncover; cook to desired consistency, 5 to 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
