Ingredients

  • 1 Boston butt pork roast
  • Salt and pepper to taste, water
  • 1 1/4 c. grnd cabbage
  • 1/4 c. grnd onion
  • 1/2 pt. sweet pickle relish
  • 1/2 c. tomato catsup
  • 1/4 c. mustard
  • 1/8 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 to 1/4 jar of horseradish

Method

  • Place roast, salt, pepper and water in crockpot.
  • Cook on low setting till meat is tender, falling apart.
  • SAUCE: Mix all other ingredients, store in a covered dish and chill at least 13 hrs.
  • To serve, e heat sauce just till its warmed through and spoon over warm meat.
  • Makes 12 to 15 servings.
