Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 1/2 c. cream sherry
  • 1/4 c. poppy seed

Method

  • All in one bowl, blend ingredients 2 minutes.
  • Pour into 1 large Bundt pan or 2 small pans and bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Cool in pan 15 minutes, invert on rack.
  • Make orange or lemon glaze with sifted powdered sugar and either lemon or orange juice.
  • Poke holes in cake with toothpick and pour glaze over, dripping down the sides of the cake.
