Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (1.5 oz.) pkg. spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Method

  • Brown ground beef with onion.
  • Add spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Spread mixture into a greased oblong pan.
  • Top with 1 1/2 cups cheese.
  • Set aside. Beat together until lumps are gone:
  • egg, milk, flour, oil and salt.
  • Pour over beef mixture and top with 1/2 cup cheese.
  • Bake at 400° for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Cut into squares.
