Ingredients
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. boiling water (or more)
Method
- Mix together until smooth in a large microwave-safe bowl.
- Add 3 cups boiling water; stir well.
- Cover with Saran wrap and microwave on High for 7 to 10 minutes.
- Remove; stir well.
- If too thick, more water may be added.
- Put back into microwave for 7 to 10 more minutes on High.
- This is done in 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
