Ingredients

  • 1 c. salt
  • 1/2 c. cornstarch
  • 3/4 c. water (cold)

Method

  • Use a double boiler. Mix salt and cornstarch together.
  • A smooth dough will result if salt and cornstarch are mixed very thoroughly.
  • Add cold water.
  • Stir the mixture constantly for several minutes as it quickly thickens into a solid mass, about the consistency of bread dough.
  • Place on aluminum foil or wax paper to cool.
  • Soak double boiler immediately for easier cleaning.
  • Knead like bread dough.
  • Place in airtight container.
