Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. hot water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 c. flour
Method
- Put yeast in large bowl.
- Add 1/4 cup hot water to dissolve yeast.
- Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Knead a few times. Let rise until double in size.
- Knead again; let rise again.
- The third time, make into rolls.
- Put 3 small balls into muffin tins; let rise again.
- Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.
