Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough
  • 1 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • melted butter or margarine
  • 1 lb. hot or Italian sausage
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes

Method

  • Thaw and let frozen bread dough rise as instructed on package. Roll into 2 large circles.
  • Fry sausage and drain.
  • Place 1/2 of sausage on each dough circle.
  • Spread 1/2 of Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of sausage.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon of each seasoning.
  • Roll up, jelly roll style; seal all edges and place, seam side down, on cookie sheet. Brush top with melted butter or margarine.
  • Sprinkle top with additional parsley flakes.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
