Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. oil
Method
- Mix yeast with warm water.
- Combine flour, salt, yeast-water mixture and oil in a large bowl.
- Turn out onto floured board. Knead for 5 minutes (until dough is soft but firm).
- Cover and let rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
- Punch down and roll out.
- Place a little corn meal in pie pan before placing dough in pan.
- Add ingredients. Sprinkle a little oil on top of ingredients.
- Bake in a 425° oven 30 to 40 minutes.
