Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 lb. chilled salted butter
- 6 Tbsp. vegetable shortening "Crisco"
- 4 tsp. vinegar mixed with 3 to 4 Tbsp. ice water
Method
- In large bowl, put flour.
- Cut in butter and shortening .
- Cut until fat is about pea sized.
- Add spoonful at a time the vinegar mixed with ice water.
- Gather dough into a ball.
- Divide into 2 balls.
- Refrigerate.
