Ingredients
- 1 stick corn oil margarine
- 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Mix margarine, sugar and vanilla.
- Add flour and salt.
- Mix well.
- Roll into balls (approximately 1 teaspoonful size).
- Press your thumb into top of each cookie.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350°.
- Fill thumbprint with jam, if desired.

- Makes 24 cookies.
