Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. minced tomato
  • 2 tbsp. chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon packed brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of dry basil leaves
  • 1 veal loin chop, 1/3 to 1/2 pound
  • 2 green pepper rings, 1/4 inch thick

Method

  • Mix tomato, chili sauce, brown sugar, salt and basil.
  • Place chop in microwave main dish.
  • Pierce both sides with fork.
  • Place green pepper rings on chop.
  • Pour sauce over chop.
  • Cover.
  • Microwave at medium (50%) 6 to 12 min or possibly till meat is cooked to desired tenderness, turning over and stirring sauce after half the cooking time.
  • Serves 1.
