- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 lb ground sirloin
- 1 large egg
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp dried dill
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cubed
Method
- Combine all of the ingredients except the mozzarella cheese.
- Make sure it is thoroughly combined.
- Using a scoop, shaped one ounce of meat into a ball.
- Make an indentation in the meatball.
- Place one cube of mozzarella cheese into indentation.
- Roll meat into ball making sure the cheese is well enclosed.
- Place on foil lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 350F 20 mins or until meat is cooked through and cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and use in your favorite recipes.
- I use these in spaghetti, pizzas and even subs!
