Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. cake flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 lb. pink lozengers
- 1 1/4 c. sweet milk
Method
- Cream together the sugar, butter and vanilla.
- Dissolve the lozengers in sweet milk.
- The pink mixture is added gradually with the flour and baking powder to creamed batter.
- After the batter is entirely smooth, add the beaten whites of four eggs.
- Sift flour and baking powder together.
